How to: liquid eyeliner

Liquid eyeliner can help to create a look that's right for you, whatever your mood. Charlotte Howe, resident colour expert, offers her advice on how to get the best out of liquid eyeliner.
Liquid eyeliners fom Lush use two different bases. The first, found in Independent and Fantasy dries very quickly after application for 'stay put' style that's particularly smudge resistant. The second, utilised across the rest of the range, is made with ingredients like almond oil and cupuacu butter so that it's ideal for blending and supremely gentle on the face.
How to use as an eyeliner:
Draw the eyeliner close to the lashes. Start at the inner corner of the eyelid and draw across. A fine line will give a discreet colour, while a thicker line will give boldness to the eye.
For a softer look, draw a thick line and blend onto the eyelid with your finger or a brush.
Fantasy and Independent aside, the shades are formulated to blend well onto the skin. If you go wrong, just blend in.
