Known for its calming, protective and antiseptic properties on the skin, beeswax absolute is still used medicinally today.
Description
The absolute has a distinctive, honey-sweet aroma and is balanced well with the uplifting citrus oils in Orange Blossom; whilst the musky ambrette seed oil and strong cumin note are mellowed by the sweet, waxy scent of the absolute. We also use beeswax absolute to help protect and soothe the scalp. Beeswax absolute is extracted from the honeycomb wax by solvent extraction. Solid at room temperature, it is golden brown in colour and has a sweet, honey-like aroma.
