Blue Wax
Blue wax is a mixture of refined hydrocarbon waxes, polymers and blue pigments (E132, E153, E171).
Description
Though not to everyone’s taste, this wax is usually used to coat cheese. It is also known as Specerit wax.
We melt this wax down and use it to coat the base of the T'eo solid deodorant bar; this is a practical way to protect the product and allows the customer to hold this area while applying the bar. It is completely compostible, too.
Blue wax reflects the colour of the delicate blue cornflower petals that decorate the T'eo deodorant bar.
