Cassis absolute gives a deep, blackcurrant, and almost-edible fragrance to products. Different essential oils can be blended with it to bring out fruity, sweet, bitter or woody notes. It is extracted through solvent extraction from the buds of the blackcurrant shrub.
Description
Cassis absolute is dark green in colour and has a paste-like consistency. It has a deep blackcurrant aroma with fresh green notes. It forms a key ingredient in the fragrance of our best-selling Comforter Bubble Bar and Shower Cream.
Blackcurrant is a shrub, a member of the Grossulariaceae plant family native to Europe and Northern Asia. It’s berries are widely eaten.
