Coffee is deeply aromatic and is thought to tone and soothe the skin, as its powdered seeds have for centuries been used for reducing heat and inflammation on the skin. We also add it to our bath and shower products for its distinctive aroma and colour.
Description
The coffee plant (Coffee Arabica) is an evergreen shrub that grows up to five metres high. It grows fragrant, star-shaped, white flowers, which are then followed by deep red beans. Arabica is the most widely grown species, particularly in South America, and produces the best quality coffee.
