Many species of orchids have traditional cosmetic uses. We use it in facial cleansers and moisturizers for its skin-soothing properties.
The dove orchid produces fragrant, white flowers with yellow throats. When viewed from the side, dove orchids look like white birds, hence the name. Once blooming, these evanescent flowers last only a short time. We create a fresh extract by infusing the flower in hot water, and then add it to our skincare products.
