Featuring a design by Beth Mackrill, an innovative and prolific artist who forms part of Rocket Artists Studios, a not-for-profit, artist-led community interest company based in Brighton, UK. Rocket Artists provides spaces and opportunities for learning-disabled people, those on the autism spectrum, and people with complex support needs to make art, develop their skills and ambitions, and to contribute ideas to the arts and society.
Creating the design for this Knot Wrap, Beth was inspired by being in a playful mood and wanted an image to reflect sunshine and happiness. She's an innovative and prolific artist who likes to bring a playful element to her work. Her practice includes experimenting with materials that resist, design for decoration and combining digital and hands-on processes.
