Moisturising and softening
We use almond milk in our products for its softening and moisturising effect on skin. Almonds are traditionally regarded as having special healing and protecting properties, soothing the skin while also hydrating it.
Description When crushed and infused in water, almonds yield a lovely milk that is created as the almond oil combines with the water. Traditionally, almond milk was used as a drink to treat inflammation of the skin from the inside out. Almond crops are susceptible to climate, thriving in sunny conditions such as the Mediterranean, California, the Middle East, and North Africa. Part of the plum family, the white-blossoming tree is botanically a fruit and an ancient ancestor of large stoned fruits, such as apricots, peaches and plums. The trees don't yield almonds for the first three or four years of their lives and will be productive until around 25 years. To produce the almonds, the flowers need to be pollinated and many of the producers keep beehives to encourage this.BROWSE MORE INGREDIENTS
